Top 10 of 2014

This has to be one of the hardest posts to write because there was so many great products that I've tried over the past year. With that begin said I narrowed this down and then down again and then once more and came up with a list of ten fantastic products. So without any other delays here is my top ten of 2014.

Clarins Daily Energizer Cleansing Gel
Previous to my experiences with this product I would have shot down any cleansing gel. From my experiences gels typically can be stripping and tend to aggravate my sensitive skin. Then I meet the Clarins and I have not used anything else since. This cleansing gel works into a great lather, removes makeup, has some fantastic ingredients but most of all it works without leaving your skin tight or irritated. The non-greasy, yet non drying finish make it suitable for any skin type so I highly suggest you try a tube of your own.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Pallet
Call me a blush pessimist because seriously thought these were going to suck. I think visually mineralized blushes look beautiful but in practice they are usually dry, patchy messes. So let me just start off by saying this isn't the texture of a mineralized product at all, indeed its creamy, pigmented and buttery. Are these even mineralized? I'm not to sure but the bottom line is it doesn't matter. All three blushes melt into your skin giving the look of a natural flush with a subtle glow.
I can proudly say that these blushes are the best in my collection and I have used them everyday since I bought them.

Klorane Gentle Shampoo with Oat Milk
One of the brands I've discovered this year was Klorane. Among all the amazing products I've tried the one I always return to is the Shampoo with Oat Milk. This mild formula is suitable for anyone who washes there hair daily. While this shampoo leaves my hair bouncy, soft and smooth it doesn't leave my hair oily in the slightest. It smells good, its affordable, its mild enough to use on the whole family, it has tons of amazing ingredients... basically what I am getting to the Oat Milk Shampoo is absolutely incredible!

THE FACESHOP Design My Brow
This waxy, stuff pencil is the ideal consistency for filling out your eyebrows, especially if you have a heavy hand like me. I also love that this comes with a spooly brush and a slanted tip pencil. With no extra tools needed Design My Brow is a speedy, effective, natural looking eyebrow must have.

Guerlain Shine Automatique Pompon Rose
This is my signature lip colour! It's the kind of lipstick that has the power to make me look healthy even when I'm feeling sick.
Lipstick super power is what this has!
This sheer shimmery rosy plum is hydrating and a pleasure to apply. I find the colour the perfect pick me up no matter what look I'm wearing. As for the packaging... what other lipstick can you open and apply using one hand? For a sheer wash of rose, gorgeous yet practical packaging, hydration and a beautifully smooth formula try Pompon Rose!!!

By Terry Ombre Blackstar
These have been in my makeup collection for a couple of years now. While I have always loved these  it took a little online hype to get me wearing these again.  These creamy eye pencils glide on to the eyes with ease. As for the longevity I have't meant an eye product that out performs these. I have two colours both are beautiful shimmery stunners. As expensive as these are I can honestly say they are worth the hype in terms of quality and performance.
I can proudly say if I had to pick one eye colour product to forever my choice would be the By Terry Blackstar's.

Elizabeth Hour Eight Hour Cream
Eight Hour Cream makeup equivalent to the Swiss Army knife.
My first experiences with this product weren't the greatest. Between you and I the original formula smells funky. But fear not people there is a unscented version that is down right amazing!
I fell head over heals when this not only cured my dry cuticles but also healed a nasty bug bite. I've also used this on sun burns, lips and eczema too all with amazing results. My purse is never complete with out a handy tube of Eight Hour Cream.

Avène Hydrance Optimale Hydrating Serum
Ever have that moment where you think to yourself my skin needs a cup of water but everything in the store feels like cup of oil? If so, Avène Hydrance Optimale is for you!
This light weight gel serum works wonders at hydrating the skin. While this aims to moisturize it also  reduces redness and calms irritation too. Oily skin types, dry skin types... heck, dare I even say all skin types could see benefits from this miracle serum.

NUXE Oil Prodigieuse
I have been using this for years, but it was only in the past year that it became a must have. Different to other oils I've tried NUXE dry's instantly. Which leaves your body your moisturized but without that gross sticky feeling.
While I usually use this oil on my body it also works great in the hair and on the face.
NUXE Oil Prodigieuse is ideal for those who travel or if your like me... lazy mornings.

Joe Malone Pomegranate Noir
I love Pomegranate Noir!
Not only have I worn this fragrance all year but my house even smells like it.
Blogger confession... I sometimes wear the room spray as perfume.
Please don't judge I just love this stuff that much.
If you haven't smelt this heady masterpiece please do its sexy, unique and delicious.

So there you have it ladies and gents my top 10 products of 2014.
