February Favourites

February was a good month from celebrating birthdays to going snowboarding I truly enjoyed myself.
Here comes the negative person in me…  Can’t winter just be done yet? So while I was having fun this month quite frankly I felt as though I was shivering the whole time.

Anyways, on the fun stuff and why we all came to the party... favorites!
Please be warned there are some unexpected ones here.
LA Vanilla SPF 40
I know what your thinking SPF, wtf?
I used this during my snowboarding trip over the past month. I wont go into very many details about this because truth is I don’t think they make it anymore. But overall I love this SPF because its gentle enough to use on my sensitive skin and it works. Out of the 5 of us I was the only one not rocking windburn. I’m on my last leg of this product so I will be looking for a new alternative in the next couple of months.

Aveda Active Composition Oil

I’ve always like the hydration qualities of this oil, but it was only this month I got to experience the ‘active’ benefits of it. If you work out or have muscle pain this works miracles by instantly making them feel cool and tingly. Trust me you will forget the pain was even there to begin with. Unlike other unpleasant smelling menthol creams the Active Oil smells like wintergreen or rootbeer. I love this stuff and can’t recommend it enough.
*Use this after a hot bath it honestly works wonders

Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in Berry Soft
I love this stuff and I’m well over half way finished this lip balm. It feels lightweight, taste like mint and tingles my lips, which is a real winner in my eyes. The color is an absolutely stunning sheer pink. Honestly this is a perfect lip balm to have kicking around your desk at work on floating around your purse.
Effortless application I can’t get enough of this!

Tarte Exposed
Not going to lie it took me a while to get on the Exposed bandwagon. I did a whole review on this earlier this month. But basically I was hesitant to try this because I thought the color was a hue of ompa lumpa orange. It’s not in fact this blush is a great multi-tasking product that both contours and adds color. I would describe this more of a dusty rose then anything else.

So lovelies let hope next mont will we warmer and lets imagine summer is right around the corner!
I thank all of you for reading and hope each and every one of you is staying warm!

Feel free to leave a comment on your favorites over been this past month.

I thought it would be way too dark for me but its not at all brown as it appears.
