Sample Overload Part 2

If you read my original post I have been overwhelmed by the abundance of samples I own. So I made a little promise to myself to start using them.

With the last load gone, I was excited to get this weeks samples started.

Aderma Exomega Emollient Cream
The Exomega range form Aderma is there very dry eczema prone range. The cream in question can be used on both face and body.
What are my overall thoughts?
Well this doesn’t surpass my Avene cold cream but it’s up there. This cream is ultra moistening which gives you the first impression that this is going to leave an oily residue. It doesn’t! This cream finishes by leaving your body really soft and smooth.
On the face the same sort of effect applies. This cream didn’t aggravate my sensitivities nor did it break me out. If you are someone who suffers from eczema prone skin you might want to check this 2 in 1 product out. This product contains tons of great ingredients, it’s also unscented and safe to use on babies.
I know this whole series was on using up beauty items but I’m going to save this one for traveling during the winter season.

Biotherm Aqua Source 24h hydration
Skincare is just one of those things that may work for some but doesn’t work for others. With that being said I found this meh, I love the smell of this but in all honesty it irritated my skin. This has both alcohol and perfume listed in the ingredients list so if you have sensitive skin you might want to sear away.

Philosophy Purity Gel
I love the original philosophy purity so this had high expectations to say the least. For my skin type I like the hydrating effect of the original formula. If you like that squeaky clean feel or have oily skin I would highly recommend you try this.
Random fact: This makes a crazy amount of bubbles!
In the meantime I am enjoying my sample and the overload of bubbles but will always prefer the original formula.

Ojon Rare Blend Oil
This looked cool, almost like one of those fancy shooters you would see going to a swanky hotel cocktail bar. I really like this oil. I noticed my hair definitely looks more smooth and shiny, but without that greasy weirdness. So would I repurchase? Maybe? I’m on the fence on this one! One part of me says “Yes smooth shiny” hair and the other says “Tanya $42.00 for an oil?” So I simply just don’t know yet!

Aveda Curl Controller
If you love the smell of the Aveda stores your going to love the smell of this. Yes it does a great job at smoothing over my waves as suggested. For me personally I like more of a curl activator product, but overall I’ve liked using this. Would I purchase this probably not; I think this product would work with someone with very curly hair.

A huge highlight from this post has been Aderma Exomega Emollient Cream. I can really see myself getting good use of this during the upcoming cooler seasons. Well that concludes my sample overload part 2. Keep checking out my blog for more of these sorts of posts!

Thanks for reading and hope you all are having an amazing week!
Tanya

And on a side note how cute are these Alice and Olivia tumblers at starbucks?
